"We are writing on behalf of Little Munchkins Preschool. Our son and daughter have been attending the center for the last year. Our daughter has and still remains in the preschool group and our son in the afterschoolers. We are highly satisfied with the quality of care they have and continue to receive. The teachers have provided a warm and caring atmosphere, and the children we saw at drop-off and pick-up time were happy and played well with each other.

The daycare is well-managed and the teachers display great dedication to the children’s well-being. The teachers are very knowledgeable of child nutrition requirements, age-appropriate activities as well as updates with the curriculum. The center provides plenty of activities with the children; they are always outside, making crafts or reading to the children.

The center has recently expanded and built a brand new facility which our children love. They also love their teacher’s, so much so that one day my daughter hurt herself at home and she cried for her teacher. At first I was sad she did not want me, however, I then realized and was pleased that she has developed such a close bond with her teachers that she loves them. If I cannot be with my child full time then I want to know that my child is being left in the hands of someone who truly cares for them and that they have developed a relationship."

"Thank you Sachelle.  Drew will miss the daycare the most, he is super attached and asks for Kristy everyday...yes even the weekends lol.   It will be nice to spend more time with him before baby comes and we will for sure visit!  Thank you for everything, we have been very happy with your daycare and believe it is one of the best in the Fredericton area.  I highly recommend it to all of my friends and I am so thankful that Drew was so well taken care of.  The home-like atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are beautiful people.  If we ever move back to the south side I would want my kids to come back to your daycare!"

"In April 2010 we received word that our daycare was officially closing their doors, which meant we would have to find a new licensed daycare for our 5 year old and 2 year old daughters.  After much searching we decided to tour Little Munchkins Preschool Center.  The laughter, the joy and the smiles on the other children’s face was simply priceless!  We couldn’t help but notice how much the teachers were involved with the children. No doubt in our mind and in our heart, we knew our girls would be loved and cared for by these wonderful daycare staff.  We enrolled our girls in the appropriate age group and after just a few days, you could see just how much the girls loved it.  They would wake up in the morning asking to go to daycare even though we were Saturday or Sunday :)

Our girls have now been attending this daycare for the past 2 years now. Our oldest is now in the afterschool program and our youngest is now in the preschool program.   I can proudly say that I feel confident when I leave them in the teachers care each day.  I know my girls are well taken care of!"

"While preparing to return to work at the end of my maternity leave, I felt very nervous about leaving my son in daycare. To trust strangers with the care of our precious baby was a nerve-wracking experience, to say the least. Fortunately, we were very pleased to realize that he quickly adapted and grew to love the staff at Little Munchkins Preschool Centre. They became his "family" away from home. Nothing makes us feel more relieved as parents than to see him happily walk away from us and cheerfully wave good bye every morning when we drop him off. To know that he feels happy and safe in his daily environment is imperative and means the world to my husband and I.
Little Munchkins Preschool Centre offers an abundance of outdoor playtime as well as indoor daily activities and learning opportunities for our son.
It melts our heart when he comes home at night proud to show us the art project he made that day or offers us a special handmade Mother's Day or Father's Day gift. The dirt on his clothes serves as proof that he is not hindered in exploring his surroundings, which is something we value as parents.
We also appreciate the importance the staff attaches to good manners, not solely by insisting on the words "please" and "thank you", but also regarding deeper core values, such as respect of others. We are often surprised by the abstract concepts he learns at daycare that we assumed he was too young to grasp.
We appreciate that Sachelle and Christie are always promptly available to answer any questions or concerns we may have, not to mention the fact that the educators are sweet, patient and devoted to the kids. Their well-maintained and clean facility is definitely also something we value and their open-door policy is reassuring to us. To know that we can drop in unannounced to "spy" on their daily interactions and group dynamic is reassuring."

Being a new mom, the thought of leaving my son with someone other then myself was a scary thought. However after seeing how wonderful the staff are and how happy the other children are it became easier. My son who started going at 8 months old now heads right for then ladies and momma barley gets a kiss goodbye. May hurt my ego but gives me great peace of mind that he loves it there as much as we do!

Thanks Ladies!
